Join and Get Involved with Heart Humboldt Day!

HEART HUMBOLDT is a day to give back to your community.
Our goal is to “spruce up” the downtown for both locals and visitors. Heart Humboldt Day is a fun way
for individuals, neighborhoods, schools, community and company volunteer groups to get involved
and demonstrate their commitment to a clean downtown Arcata.

We are seeking volunteers who would like to make a difference. Beautification efforts will include window washing, landscaping, trash pick-up, light painting, planting flowers and other external beautification efforts.
Volunteers are needed at all sites.

So bring your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to the Arcata Plaza at 9am on Saturday, March 28, 2009.  There will be a check in table where you can assist with a variety of beautification activities.
The necessary equipment for these tasks will be provided.

Volunteers will be rewarded and recognized for their dedication to cleaning up our town with complimentary food, drinks and a free concert by Woven Roots. You can listen to their music at http://www.myspace.com/WovenRootsHumboldt.
