Arcata Exchange first opened its doors in 1977.  Originally named Barter is Better,  the store was a place of positive thinking and good vibes where people came together to exchange ideas and conduct fair commerce. Although the name has changed, the idea has remained the same.  A locally owned store where every customer feels welcome.

We at the Arcata Exchange invite you to come in and enjoy our store and our staff, who are always friendly and willing to help.
